For over 30 years, Kardon Institute for Arts Therapy has helped individuals with special needs through comprehensive music, dance and art therapy.

Our Goals

Kardon Institute for Arts Therapy’s mission, To assist individuals with special needs to achieve personal growth through the arts, defines our core constituency and drives us to continually seek new approaches in music, dance/movement and art therapies. Our goal always is to create a therapeutic impact on the lives of children and adults with cognitive, developmental, physical, neurological, behavioral and psycho-social disabilities.

Kardon serves clients with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities and conditions including autism, and also the homebound elderly. Our holistic approach builds on the client’s strengths, helping them open new paths to the fullest possible participation in the community and in life.

We offer programs at locations throughout the Philadelphia area including five branches of Settlement Music School; and in some cases in clients’ homes. Financial aid is available.
